Pencil sketch and digital coloring practice (yup.... like I needed an excuse to draw my favorite subjects )
As I already stated elsewhere, I draw freehand. No tracing and no grids, only a pretty accurate starting sketch (unless I'm doing a watercolor painting, in that case a grid is good - you can't erase too many mistakes on watercolor paper). Just in case someone is doubting.
Yeah, my messy quick sketches (moved in scraps for my reputation's sake) show what happens when I try to skip my own working steps.
