Watercolors and watercolor pencils on cold pressed paper. Size is about 22x35 cm.

I'm rather happy about the design, not so much about the color palette. I should always choose 3 colors at most and stick to those. ^^;

It's so airy and has the feeling of Batik (dying fabric with wax). Though her face is beautiful, I do wish it blended a bit more with the more freeform, organic background. Perhaps if there was a piece missing from her face, or the lines from the web-like structure continued into the features of her face. Overall I enjoy the color palette, it has life, surprise and energy. The work is lovely but I think it has potential to go even further. It's the last step that can make all the difference.

Don't worry about breaking rules. Once you learn them, breaking them is the fun part.

E' meravigliosa! Ma vabbè che ho già una cotta per lei, come cantante e come donna, ma tu non hai fatto altro che far sì che si acuisca! Mi piace il design un po' liberty, sembra quasi che possa trovarsi sulla vetrata di una chiesa :D

Era un bel po' che volevo dedicarle qualche ritratto. E in effetti alla luce del giorno anche i colori mi convincono di più - dipingere di sera è sempre un po' azzardato.
