This is my entry for 
's God/Goddess contest.
I wanted to paint Norse Goddess Frigg showing her "clairvoyant" side, so in my painting she's - let's say - casting runes, perhaps to know the whereabouts of her husband Odin. Orion constellation is related to her in mythology.
The slicing branch was suggested by a strange dream I had about runes some years ago.
Orion constellation is taken from a Hubble telescope photo.
