Tendrils of darkness and magic

My entry for =NadezhdaVasile's "Animae" contest. This time I picked Balefar. I wanted to draw him shapeshifting, but I don't actually know if he has a "true" form or not, so let's say he is performing some sort of magic spell!

Thanks to *geoectomy-stock for reference photo. Those hands were a hell to draw, but I really like the pose.
